Finally, Real Punishment

CRUEL & UNUSUAL?
Colorado Judge Paul Sacco, fed up with repeatedly seeing the same people in his courtroom for violating noise ordinances, is now forcing repeat offenders to listen to an hour's worth of Barry Manilow or the theme song from Barney & Friends. The fines weren't working, he reasoned, so Sacco figured maybe an hour's worth of "I love you, you love me..." at high volume might make these nefarious noisemakers change their ways. "This is a way...of teaching manners to people," the judge told Reuters.
